Delete your Steps Club account
Sorry to see you go. Here’s how to delete your account and everything in it.
In the app
Open Steps Club, go to Settings, and tap Delete account. It happens right away and can’t be undone.
Don’t have the app anymore?
Email nick@cernera.design with “Delete my account” in the subject. Send it from the email on your account, or tell us the phone number you signed up with.
We’ll check it’s really you, delete everything within 7 days, and write back when it’s done.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, username, email, phone number and photos
- Your steps, walks, routes, goals and settings
- Your place in every club and on every friend list. Your steps drop out of club totals too.
- Your posts and reactions, in your friends’ feeds and in your clubs
- Invites and invite links you sent, and feedback you sent us
- Your spot in contact matching and search, so people can’t find you anymore
What goes later
- Our analytics copy, within 30 days
- Crash reports, within 90 days
- Server logs, within 30 days
What can stay
- Your posts in the feeds of people who were no longer your friends, and of clubs you had left
- Your name on walks you shared with friends, and cheers you sent them
- Reports you filed or that were filed about you, so we can act on repeat abuse
- Purchase records, without anything that identifies you
- Your subscription. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel it, so cancel it first in the App Store or Google Play.
